Welcome to A Sane Moment
June 1st 2008 14:45
You may be asking yourself, what exactly is A Sane Moment? For me it could be many things, time away from my five children or even time away from my stressful job. Actually, this blog is all about finding the sanity in personal finances.
My blog will be all about personal finance, including tips and advice to help you achieve your financial goals. I will give you details from the trenches after being one of the many that was led along the primrose path to believe that credit is a good thing. I will talk about credit for students as well as how to handle it as you get older.
From time to time, I will review some of the books out there on personal finance and talk about what this may mean to you. Also, you will find information about current events that may have an impact on your life.
So that’s the blog, why am I an expert on personal finance? Well, for starters, I have a master’s degree in business education. I also have taught business topics as an adjunct professor for higher education institutions. Thanks to my brief (one term) excursion as a graduate assistant for the financial aid office at Illinois State University while I completed my master’s degree, I gained some experience in the world of student financial aid. This helped me write my book Lifetips 101 Student Loan Tips (2007) published through Lifetips.com.
That’s me in a nutshell and what I want to accomplish with this blog. Stay tuned for more life changing tips about your personal finances.
