Money, Money, Money

Who doesn’t want to make a lot of money? Ok, I don’t think it’s everything, but it sure would be nice to be in a position where I didn’t have to worry about money. I think most people could agree. Who doesn’t want to make a lot of money? Ok, I don’t think it’s everything, but it sure would be nice to be in a position where I didn’t have to worry about money. I think most people could agree with that statement.
It’s almost like we in America are working hard to keep our debt in proportion to the national debt which grows every day. Not that I think it’s ok to blame America’s problem with debt like that. If you are in debt, you should take responsibility for it…it’s your own fault.
Admittedly, we do make it easy to get into debt. For too long, everyone was willing to extend credit well beyond a normal person’s means. Yet, you still can’t blame anyone else because you were the one that accepted the credit and spent the money.
I think I’m doing ok. I have my share of bills to pay each month like everyone else and I pay them. I have so money saved as well. I don’t have money to take my family on big expensive trips all the time. Well maybe I could spend that money, but I choose not to. I have a co-worker with plenty of debt who was just talking about the $3200 coffee pot she bought that grinds the coffee, has an LCD screen, and brews her coffee one cup at a time. Impressive, but I can’t bring myself to spend that much on a coffee pot. If I was wealthy, I might consider it. At this point though, I would rather live within my means. I think that would be something for everyone to consider doing and then we wouldn’t here so much about debt all the time.
e with that statement.
