Money and Politics

The Democratic National Convention was last week and the Republican National Convention is supposed to be going on this week…are you paying attention? I get so annoyed with people that rely solely on what they hear from others or get from the various news sources.

Hey, the politician that gets elected in November will potentially have an impact on your finances. My blog is not all about who you should vote for (and yes, I have definitely chosen my candidate), but to make sure that everyone who reads this understands that they need to think about their family finances and consider all of the issues before making a decision.

Don’t let someone else make the decision for you. Be an informed voter.

The Political Brief

Information is the best key to voting. Personally, after hearing all the "evidence" and listening to the platforms and considering the financial possibilities of both candidates and their Vice Presidential nominees, I must tell you that Barack Obama would be a financial disaster for the country. His return to the failed policies of the Careter administration and raising of taxes have never worked before and will not work again. Joe Biden represents everything that's wrong with our political system. It does however prove that we desperately need term limits in Congress!

Thanks for your comment S.L. I think most people "miss" the message or don't understand the ramifications of what is being suggested because they are told it is a great idea.
